Established in 2005, Globe Drill (now a subsidiary of Coretrack) was founded and built by Mr Warren Strange, as the drill rig manufacturing arm of Strange Drilling. In 2007, Mr Strange sold the drilling contracting business including all auxiliary equipment and the fleet of mineral exploration and grade control drill rigs to Brandrill (now Ausdrill).

Globe Drill and its manufacturing capabilities were retained and the Company has recently completed its new revolutionary product, the GT3000 drill rig. It is anticipated that the GT3000 and future rigs will result in significant time savings to exploration and production focused companies who require wells drilled to depths of up to 4,500 metres.

The first GT3000 rig is now providing drilling services to the geothermal, energy and mineral sectors.
